On August 27th, 2011, TEDxSantaRosa will bring together some of the most talented, creative and innovative residents of the North Bay to Santa Rosa Junior College to discuss the Future of Sonoma County.

While California and the United States as a whole face an array of economic, environmental, and technological challenges, Sonoma County can ask itself where it wants to be in this period of tumult. Do national problems exist, to which we can start being part of the solution? What will the social landscapes look like in the coming years, and how will they affect these issues?  What role can people, businesses, or institutions play in solving these pertinent issues?

This event will take place in the Student Activities Center in the new Bertolini Building of the SRJC Campus.  (There will be signs).

Registration starts at 9:30am.  It all begins at 10:00am, and will end around 5:00pm.

NOTE: If you purchase the Student ticket, you will be asked to provide some form of Student ID, or be charged the extra $15 for the General Admission price.  No funny business, please.  Live with integrity.
